Straight answers, including the ones most companies avoid.
No, and I'll be direct about why that distinction matters. Genova Lab provides educational analysis of your genetic data and evidence-based optimisation protocols. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for clinical medical care. What it is: a rigorous, science-backed translation of your genome into actionable lifestyle and supplementation guidance.
You'll need your raw DNA data file from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or any compatible consumer test — in unzipped .txt format. After payment, a client intake form is sent to your email. Upload your file there and fill in the details. If you haven't tested yet, order a 23andMe or AncestryDNA kit directly, then return with your raw data file.
Basic reports show you a small selection of variants and tell you whether you carry them. We take your entire raw data file and analyse the variants that actually matter for optimisation. More importantly, we don't just report what you have. We tell you what it means, what the evidence says about intervening, and exactly what to do about it.
Your raw data file is used solely for the purpose of producing your report. It is not stored after delivery, not shared with third parties, and not used for any research or marketing purposes. You're not a data point, you're a client.
Six core domains: methylation and detoxification pathways; neurotransmitter metabolism and cognitive performance; inflammation and immune response; circadian rhythm and sleep architecture; longevity and cellular repair markers; and hormonal metabolism. Within each domain: interpretation of your relevant variants, what they mean for your physiology, and a ranked list of interventions.
Almost certainly, and some of it may be uncomfortable. Many sophisticated supplementers are unknowingly dosing against their genetics. The report will identify where your current stack aligns with your genetics and where it doesn't.
Reports are delivered as a professionally formatted PDF. The average report is 25–40 pages.
I need your raw DNA data file in unzipped format — a .txt file. From 23andMe: go to Settings → 23andMe Data → Download. From AncestryDNA: go to Settings → Download DNA Data. Once downloaded, unzip the file and you'll have a .txt file ready to send. Do not send the zip file directly.
After payment you'll receive a client intake form by email. Complete it and upload your raw DNA data file. Your report will be delivered upon completion of analysis. No timeline is guaranteed — we work to the highest standard for each individual client.
The Monthly Protocol Review is a structured monthly service — not a coaching or consulting relationship. Each month, I send you a questionnaire covering your current bloodwork, supplement response, and any health changes. You complete it, and I send back an updated protocol. That is the entirety of the service. There is no open inbox, no direct email access, and no between-session contact. This structure is intentional — your protocol should be grounded in data, not daily fluctuations.
The Monthly Protocol Review does not include direct access between sessions. All updates happen through the monthly intake form. If you have an urgent medical concern, please contact your healthcare provider.
All DNA report purchases are final and non-refundable. Reports are personalised digital deliverables created specifically for your genetic data — they cannot be resold or reassigned. For the Monthly Protocol Review, completed months are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will continue to receive service until the end of the paid period. Please read our Terms & Conditions before purchasing.
After payment, you'll receive a client intake form by email. Fill it in and upload your raw DNA data file there — that's where I collect everything I need to build your report. You don't need to email me separately.
