1. About Genova Lab

Genova Lab is a Canada-based personalised health service providing DNA analysis reports and Monthly Protocol Review services to clients worldwide. Contact: izel@genova.health

2. Educational Purpose — Not Medical Advice

All reports, protocols, and content produced by Genova Lab are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing provided by Genova Lab constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Genova Lab is not a licensed medical provider, physician, or genetic counsellor.

You are solely responsible for all health decisions you make based on our reports. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, supplementation, medication, or lifestyle. Genova Lab accepts no liability for any health outcomes arising from the use of our reports or protocols.

3. Services Provided

Genova Lab offers the following services:

• Core Genomic Report ($397): Full SNP analysis across all 7 biological domains. Delivered as a personalised PDF report.
• Domain Reports ($149 each): Focused SNP analysis for one specific domain. Delivered as a personalised PDF report.
• Monthly Protocol Review ($197/month): A structured monthly service in which the client completes a questionnaire and receives an updated protocol. See Section 6 for full terms.

4. No Refund Policy — DNA Reports

All DNA report purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies to the Core Genomic Report and all Domain Reports.

DNA reports are personalised digital deliverables created specifically for each individual client using their unique genetic data. Once work has commenced on your report, it cannot be resold, reassigned, or reused. Under British Columbia's Consumer Protection Act and applicable consumer protection legislation, digital goods that are personalised and have been accessed or delivered are exempt from standard return and refund obligations.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your report is a personalised digital product created specifically for you.
• No refund will be issued under any circumstances after purchase.
• Dissatisfaction with results does not constitute grounds for a refund, as genetic analysis is inherently dependent on your individual DNA data.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after receiving a delivered report is considered a breach of these Terms. In the event of a disputed charge, Genova Lab reserves the right to submit evidence of service delivery — including the completed report, intake form submissions, and email correspondence — to the relevant payment processor.

Clients who initiate chargebacks without first contacting Genova Lab to resolve the matter may be permanently banned from future services.

6. Monthly Protocol Review — Terms

The Monthly Protocol Review is a structured monthly service, not an open coaching or consulting relationship. The following terms apply:

• How it works: Each month, Genova Lab sends a structured intake questionnaire to the client. The client completes the questionnaire and Genova Lab provides an updated protocol based on the responses. This is the entirety of the service for that month.
• No direct access: The Monthly Protocol Review does not include direct email access, messaging access, or the ability to contact Genova Lab between monthly questionnaires. Any unsolicited emails or messages sent outside the structured questionnaire process will not be responded to within the scope of this service.
• Billing: The service is billed at $197 USD per month on a recurring basis through Stripe. Billing begins on the date of purchase and recurs monthly on the same date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe customer portal or by emailing izel@genova.health. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to receive service until the end of the paid period.
• No refund on completed months: Months already billed and for which service has been initiated (questionnaire sent) are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not be charged for the following month, but the current month is non-refundable.
• No refund on future months prepaid: If you have pre-purchased multiple months, completed months are non-refundable. Unused future months may be cancelled but are not eligible for a cash refund.

7. Client Responsibilities

By purchasing any Genova Lab service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate raw DNA data from a compatible consumer testing service (23andMe, AncestryDNA, or similar).
• Complete the client intake form accurately and completely. Inaccurate information may affect the quality of your report.
• Consult a qualified healthcare provider before implementing any protocol recommendations.
• Not share, resell, or distribute your personalised report to third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All reports, protocols, content, and materials produced by Genova Lab are the intellectual property of Genova Lab. Your report is licensed to you for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from your report without written permission from Genova Lab.

9. Privacy & Data

Your raw DNA data and personal information are used solely for the purpose of producing your report. Genova Lab does not sell, share, or license your genetic data to third parties. Raw DNA files are deleted after report delivery upon request. Aggregate anonymised data may be used for internal research purposes.

Genova Lab operates in compliance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Genova Lab's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Genova Lab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to health outcomes, lost profits, or data loss.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

12. Changes to These Terms

Genova Lab reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
